World of Little Lady Me: July 2012

Some say it is one of the best burger in town. I say it is oneof the homie-est hamburger place in Stockholm. If you are 'Stockholmare' and have been reading some newspaper you probably guess it right, we are talking about "Flippin' Burger",one of the most greasiest and yummy burger house in Kungsholmen.

Though I live in USA for some while I never actually experienced much of the original burger house. Few I would say and I could say from what I remember Flippin' is quit close to that. Casual atmosphere, the smell of meat touching the hot grill, the vibrance or even the ketchup, mustard, and mayo that sitting on the table are what we need, a good simple burger house. If you expect nothing less than a homie, good real meat burger with fries on the side and nothing more to add than a simple cheese, little lettuce, and few slice of tomato then this place is a stop for you. *Hence if you don't do beef, don't bother coming because there's nothing more in the menu besides yummy Ben and Jerry shake. And yes many beers to choose from. The owner had traveled for years searching for a perfect recipe for his dream place and the outcome do not disappointed him at all.

I think te place is cool, homie and cozy but since it is quite small and many people is waitting to get some piece of a yummy burger, you can't linger much plus they keep the menu short and focus. I have been there twice and happy both of the time. I suggest come early (before you get hungry), book the table, chill and wait. It could take some time before yo get the table. Though the result is worth waiting and for such price in Stockholm (around 150 for burger n fries) I wish the line is shorter so we can come much often. Despite Swedish's heavy hand on the salt, I can probably say it is not so bad here. And don't expect a BiG burger like you have in other fastfood places. This one is tight with flovor.
