Vintagemässan and Vintage lover

Waiting for some excitement in Stockholm and finally it came this weekend! Since I heard about it weeks ago I have been looking forward to go to the “Vintage Fair” event. First I thought it was going to in an open air area with space and room for many many shops. Sat. I went a bit late (1.30 PM) and the line was already long. Half way and 20 min later I gave up. Seeing people inside in closed space I know my companion wouldn’t last half an hour. Although he meant well but I know I better off coming early and alone. Sunday agenda started with pancake (fastest breakfast I ever did on Sunday!) and I’m off to Hornstull. Got there about 20 to 12 (open time) and I was in a line exactly where I left yesterday. At least I was the first 100 people to get in. Got a goodies bag which only few things I’m happy about. That is buy 4 cupcakes pay for only 2 at Stockholm cupcake and bottle of body oil.

The event took place in this pub/bar under the bridge by the park. It was about maybe 60 stores and all of them are filled with great vintage clothes. Overcoats seem to be most popular item and follow by other falls/autumn clothes. Got to see many beautiful garments and delicate beauty of the vintage clothes. Things weren’t so cheap but worth looking around. Some good quality goodies for those who like vintage without digging and pocket full of cash. It’s a very nice experience without buying anything. Especially seeing the people who like the same style as I do. Not a shopping event for me but still I really did enjoy it.

Day is still young and it’s Sunday. Still time to hit the flea market in town and lets the boys took the house. Maybe there’s something more for me there ;) and yes there is. Check out my Wardrob Trunk to see what I got today.

Sat. line to get in (2 pm)
