I know it is a little late but I still feel that X'mas still in the air especially when I am still excited about the gifts. I am cozy under fluffy new blankie we got for julklappar. So happy!


I love X'mas not because of all the gifts. In fact it was a bit difficult to come up with the wish list. But I feel like it is the time when nothing else matter besies family. And how lucky I am to one cozy family in Sweden and one in Thailand. The gift is at least we can do to say "Thank you" for all the wonderful time we had this year and all for those you have been there for me. And I give thanks to all my good friends too. Without you, life would be hard.

New year to come and I hope I will always be surrounded by these people.

Collaboration Collection, opportunity or fall trap?

For many years now that mass brand like H&M or Target has taken an opportunity to collaborate with some of the famous designers, bloggers, or even a movie (TV) stars. Part of the game is for both end to get huge publicity and some turn over for the season ends. Sound like a nice plan right since everyone seems to be doing it.  So what do we fashion victim get from all this besides ‘the high’ of our shopping spree.

Some are the collector. Well with that price and all those brands, it is very attractive to be honest. Some are dreamer. Some people would take a whole life to be able to afford a piece of the luxury brand. Some do it for the rush and addiction to ‘I gotta have it’ drug. Either way it is still an opportunity to some or a fall trap to others.

Just because they have a big name attaching to the tag doesn’t always mean it worth spending money. I am not saying no to some of the gorgeous worth queuing pieces but being a smart shopper know better than just to get a hand on anything or picking the one that scream ‘you’ and put down a good investment.   Don’t fall for the trap either it is the price or the brand. Know yourself and your style, plan and think it over a little bit before you hit the queue next time. After all you got a chance to see the collection before the actual sales.

Do it myself Project : Collar Embroidery Accessory

A While back I spot this very cute collar accessories at COS but at the time it just didn't scream loud enough for me to buy it. And for some reason it hits me me not so long ago and of course it is a bit too late. So I thought to myself why not do it myself and even more important I can customize as I wish.

First I gotta find the core part, the collar. Where though, should I bought some 2nd hand shirt and just use the collar or can I buy them separate somewhere. And then I think of my favorit place, Old Touch. As I went to ask the lady there she showed me a big basket full of collars, some with lace, some simple style. So I picked a few. There are about 20-40 Kr. each. There I was happy and can soon start my little project.

Others are easy. Just pick the beads that I like and some good quality thread. You wouldn't want it to break half way and you have to start over.

The results are great !  I am very happy with them and can not wait to wear them over the party that is coming up. And guess what it will be the only piece in the world.
