When the weather is nice out (according to Swedish term it means warm and sunny)on Sunday, there's no better way to spend it with a good walk and even better shopping while walking.
Lucky me to check www.gratisistockholm.nu to see what happening in Stockholm and guess what I found. My favorit event of the summer (besides picnic and hang in the sun like normal Swed do), Flemarket-thrifting. Today it is Återvinningsfesten in Hornstull.
The one from the local people and residence always fills with surprise. You can almost tell if you want to stop at their stand by looking at them. How old they are, what size , what kind of things they have. You can deligate it quite easy. Though this type of flemarket does not have so much vintage goodies except for owner who like vintage or some heritage belonging. Which is quite fun when you find something. But it is good if you wanna find something current and cheap. Some even get rid of the brand item, so you can be the next owner under a good budget.
I decide to take a walk since it's not so far from my house so I can get a good walk and does not feel so quilty not going to the gym. I spend about 3 hours 'very productively.' And very happy for the amout I paid for all the items I get.
