Warm Season in a cold winter

Excitement and celebration of Christmas holiday have passed. And for tropical country girl like me ironically I always been in love with Christmas aroma. It is all about spending time catching up after a long year with your beloved family and even more share our appreciation with great gesture of gifts. After all the stressful gift hunting, this is the time when you can fully relax and spoil yourselves with great amazing foods, candy, chocolate, wine, and many more.

I had one great Christmas once when I was in USA, religiously warmth at heart. This year (hopefully from now on) I celebrated it here in Sweden, where December is coldest month in 100 years, with loving warmth cozy family. So many traditions so different from every part of the world but most important is the time you spend together.

I hope you enjoy your Christmas as much I did and looking forward to great new year to come.

A Blast (not always a good thing) !

Two explosions rocked the centre of the Stockholm. A car blew up near the busy shopping street of Drottninggatan. One person has been killed (the suicide bomber) and two others injured.”

A Shocking news have delivered earlier this evening while I finish decorating our Christmas tree. Never really thought it happened in Sweden, the most peaceful country in my opinion. When my boyfriend’s yelling out about the bomb a second there I thought “Mann! what happen in my Thailand now.” But instead it’s bombing right 1 and a half kilometer away from my home here.

I have no surprise of what happen to the world as the consequences of what happen to the people. It makes me sad thinking people have to show their beliefs through ‘death statement’ and violent. I really do feel like we are moving backward.

Is it really true what go up must come down?

S A D but TRUE

Stuck ?

How often have you thinking of the things you wish you didn’t say or even acting the way you did. Often that comes and bites you in the ass and leaves you with nothing but painful feeling. And sometimes you never meant to do what you did as a result of emotional race won before rational could even kick in. I never denial that I’m still a human being with so many emotional feelings and quilts and faults and that makes me over look at people’s dark side or even try to understand them. I’m nothing close to a saint (even saints are not perfect I believe) Life is too short to be sorry for things we didn’t mean and little things that is less important.

Life is all about moving on because once you stuck, you missing out other important thing in life which is “living”.

LANVIN After shock

All in done, the wave of LANVIN ♡ H&M is finally gone after day 3 (here in Sweden at least). The reporter said that most item is off the rack. Only expensive items that still some left. So for all fashionista out there what do you think of the collection. For my opinion, LANVIN do not let me down. Very impress with the women collection and interesting to see the detailing on men’s. Details, style and shape is very LANVIN (if you look back to some of his old collection). Fabric choice is very interesting especially to men’s line. I did not know that using women’s fabric can look so fabulous on men’s! I do not disappoint to be waking up at 6.30 at all. Not so often that we can see some fabulous work of the famous designer so closely.

Before I fill you in with all the juicy comment and observation, let me bring back some history about this brand. Jeanne Lanvin is one of the most influential designers of the 1920s and '30s. She began her career by sawing dresses to her daughter and soon her reputation of intricate trimmings, virtuoso embroideries and beaded decorations become well known. Use of light fabric, floral color and delicate details soon became a Lanvin trademark.

Now a day LANVIN, the oldest fashion house of France, is still standing tall as one of the most influential high-end premium brand of all time. As for all design we have to give applause to Alber Elbaz, LANVIN artistic director. It still came to a surprise how H&M trick such huge brand to join in the campaign.

Luckily I didn’t wake up as early as others since my focus is mainly for men’s collection. Thus I could not help myself exploring the women’s collection as well. As I was standing in line as “group#2” I couldn’t help notice people around me. I was by myself and I would say a company in this situation would be nice. 2 women in front of me are very cool while waiting, having coffee and doing make up. Talking about using time wisely. Girl be hide me is preparing herself for online-shopping with a notebook in her hand. I also notice that some of the people there is a bit not ‘LANVIN-style’. Some have the printed collection with many circles on it, some come with a plan of who will shop what. My guess is some of those are shopping for their daughters and some is shopping for the E-bay. As I heard later on that night that the price went up double already.

Kista 7.40 AM

First store was done at about 9 AM as I rush out to another one in the city to collect other items on the list. As I stepped in the flagship store about 10.15, the queue for women’s still line up. I finally got everything in my bag and willing to take it little easy and observe some more. Things are not much different from other store I went to. Thus there was more foreign people here and more fashion fighter. Am I so lucky to get the last sunglass (probably last in Sweden)! One of the cutest thing I saw from all these chaos is this one lady, look like a mom, is shopping with a list on one hand, shopping bag on her shoulder and vitamin drink in the other hands. Speaking of all the thing you do for fashion. My boyfriend is right we are all crazy fashion victim. Before my first day end, I got to chat with a very nice H&M staff as I was at the cashier. I asked how crazy it was this morning. She said lucky she wasn’t there but she heard it was crazy but in good control. She also gave me an extra shoes bag. Thank you 

2nd day started about 10.30 in the city. Pretty much stop by 3 main stores to pick up some left over. Lucky to get a few things for my friends and got to try out a few dress I love but have no where to wear them to. Most of the items were gone. Only left with some pricy one and few coats and some shoes. I say a lot of people come for round 2 like me. And some come back for more e-bay project. Things are more calm and no time limit today. What a relieve!

2nd day H&M : Sergelgatan 1 and  Hamngatan 22

Day 3: Very few left in the stores, most guy’s are gone, some shoes still there. Heard from a friend in Oslo that there are still many items left there. Likely maybe because of the -12 degree is stopping people from coming or they just don’t get it.

Round up: I got to thinking as I ride a train home that Sweden must be one of the nicest countries to be shopping for this type of event. From what I heard some of the place can be pretty nasty. My boyfriend said I’m obsessed with this whole LANVIN things, if I put as much afford in to my Swedish I would probably be over the moon already. Well, baby I gonna denial that accusation. Even though all I get out of this experience is 2 T-shirts (one for me and one for you) but I enjoy every sweat of it. Once I promise myself to do anything I love, I tend to be the very best of it. No matter how difficult it may seem. I will finds a solution and make it happen. So once I got appointed to do this project, I will not let my reputation down. Beside it is an experience that not a lot of people will get to taste. I do not concern just about LANVIN clothing but how people react to the whole thing as well as how marketing issue come to a perspective. After all I need my material to write to my fans.

Marketing strategy, in my opinion H&M have been constantly very superb with their marketing campaign. Weekend before the launch, 3 minutes advertisement of LANVIN ♡ H&M was on air as a kick reminder. Tuesday 23rd , banner advertisement is cross the front page of Metro newspaper (Local/free newspaper for Stockholm). Not only they publish a 2 pages spread on page 1 and 2 but also the next page 3 and 4 as well. I could say it REALLY in your face. We all know that people will show up more than a thousand at 8AM for the collection and so there’s no need to advertise as huge as they did but considered their reputation, I don’t think H&M can do anything small. Some time you just have to marketing yourself for a ‘statement’ and I’m sure it is another year H&M do that to all of us fashion victims.

Wonder what will be joining H&M next year. . . what is your wish, my dear reader?

We ♡ H&M

Nov 23rd is just a breath away and I’m sure that all the fashionista is humbly waiting. How lucky I am to be in Sweden now and will get to experience the glimmer (or chaos) of The collaboration collection with H&M this year. Throughout the couple past years now that H&M brilliantly marketing its brand with the helping hand of a bigger designer and it become such a signature we all looking forward to every year. This year it’s LANVIN !

I’m like others have been following the collection pretty close and admire the designer point of view. First of all he made it all clear that H&M will go for luxury style of LANVIN and not another way around. Talking about the market value philosophy, it sure doesn’t feel cheap for the upper class brand. Thump ups!

As for design, even though I’m not a big fan of LANVIN but it definitely keeping the vive of elegant vibrant luxury in the collection. The collection is simply a collector. Focusing on the women silhouette with simple but neat and sophisticated is brand’s strength. If I can get a hand on, I will unquestionably own a dress or two. Men collection even though takes part and a full filled collection, but some of the pieces look so much fun and worth the money spend.

It was clearly hidden that the penalty for the fashion victims will not be cheap (as other collaborators) thus for all designer collectors and profit grabber it is no question needed for this. Can’t help but wonder sometimes if some people buying it because it is cheaper than the original brand itself or is it something that will be worth collecting and perhaps will be worth twice as much in the long run.

Either way weather you are a LANVIN’s fan, brand lovers, fashionista , or collector I’m sure once again H&M will not disappointed you. And as long as we are still living in the material world, it doesn’t hurt to perceive some of the material happiness as it may brings. As long as you don’t have to sell yourself for it.

How can you not H&M right ?

Selective Hearing

Does it ever happen to you in the situation like you are talking to another person while you thought they listening to you but in fact they totally screening your voice off. One of my friend call that “A selective hearing” as know as human automatically selects what they want to hear.

During circumstances in life many times we wish we didn’t have to hear what just going through our ears or in another words there’s so many crazy horrible news, stupid silly dramas, nonsense gossip or back stabbing rumors, all unhealthy information that we might have encountered with. Life is so much to handle already once you are called human being and there’s no need to burden it in misery. Other important things in life are worth focusing on. Let’s select out these noises from our life and only focusing on what is healthy to our souls, shall we?

FYI: Don’t talk anything important during sports match with your BF. Unless you want to use “Baby, I told u about that already” this might be the time. If you want attention do it when your eyes are locked !

Dress Up

Hello Halloween !

I’m not sure where the tradition comes from and besides “trick or treat” what is it really about this day. When I was in the State, me and my host family didn’t celebrate this spooky occasion. In fact they thought it’s all about evil and demon. And it shouldn’t be reason for celebrating. Thus when I was in Västeras we actually took it as a party option.

This year even though I’m in Sweden but there is no party or dressing up for trick or treating. I think people usually dress up in their lives already. Some people try or pretend to be someone else they are not. Or some people dress up to impress others. Since most of us playing dress up everyday already, so why doing it for this one special day. Maybe hiding under the mask or being in character makes it easy to hide your true self and let people see what they want to see.

I say “dress up for yourself” being who you are, is the greatest feeling in the world.

"Fragile"

I almost forgot how much I miss my friends from home. One who always there for me even one who seeing me from the distance. Today a very special artist from Thailand, Bodyslam, release the new music video "เปราะบาง" (AKA Fragile). It is such a sad broken heart song with such amazing lyric. This band have always been one of my favorit. Not only all the songs are meaningful but also they are working so hard with their music. The band is very close to my heart and seeing them growing all these years is so admirable.

I did some translation but I hope the music itself can make you understand.

เปราะบาง "Fragile"

หนทางยังดูเหมือนเดิม มีแสงไฟมีผู้คนรอบกาย
The road is still the same, lights and people surround me.

จากคนร้อยพันที่ยืนใกล้กัน กลับรู้สึกว่าไกลแสนไกล
Among the thousands of people, But I feel so far away.

อะไรมันหายไปจากหัวใจของเรา
There’s something missing in my heart.

ทำไมแค่ลมเพียงแผ่วเบา ยังทำให้เหน็บหนาว
Just a breeze of wind can make me feel so cold.

แค่เพียงแผ่นฟ้าที่ว่างเปล่า ยังทำให้มีน้ำตา
Just an empty sky still can make me cry.

ทำไมมันช่างเปราะบางเหลือเกิน อ่อนแอจนเกินจะเข้าใจ
Why is it so fragile and weak beyond my understanding

ครั้งนึงที่เคยสัมผัส ในหัวใจว่ารักยังเหลืออยู่
Once I used to feel the love that left inside of me.

แต่วันนี้ดูเหมือนมันลบเลือน
But today it all seems to fade away.

กอดที่อบอุ่นจางหายไป สักวันถ้าล้มลงจะมีใครสนใจ
The warmth embrace is all disappear. Who will catch me if one day I fall.
ทำไมแค่ลมเพียงแผ่วเบา ยังทำให้เหน็บหนาว
Just a breeze of wind can amke me feel so cold.

แค่เพียงแผ่นฟ้าที่ว่างเปล่ายังทำให้มีน้ำตา
Just an empty sky still can make me cry.

ทำไมมันช่างเปราะบางเหลือเกิน
Why is it so fragile.

ร่องรอยจากคำไม่กี่คำ ยังทำให้ปวดร้าว
Scar from just a few word in the past still hurts.

แค่เพียงแววตาที่ว่างเปล่ายังทำให้เจ็บหัวใจ
Just an empty look still makes my heart ache.

ทำไมมันช่างเปราะบางเหลือเกิน ชีวิตเมื่อไรจะเข้มแข็งพอ
Why is it so fragile. When will I ever be strong again.

วิงวอนให้มันสิ้นสุดลง
Praying that this will come to an end.

ทำไมแค่ลมเพียงแผ่วเบายังทำให้เหน็บหนาว
Just a breeze of wind can make me feel so cold.

แค่เพียงแผ่นฟ้าที่ว่างเปล่ายังทำให้มีน้ำตา
Just an empty sky still can make me cry.

ทำไมมันช่างเปราะบางเหลือเกิน ไม่รู้เมื่อไหร่จะผ่านพ้น
Why is it so fragile and when am I going to get through this.

ร่องรอยจากคำไม่กี่คำยังทำให้ปวดร้าว
Scar from just a few words in the past still hurts.

แค่เพียงแววตาที่ว่างเปล่ายังทำให้เจ็บหัวใจ
Just an empty look still makes my heart ache.

ทำไมมันช่างเปราะบางเหลือเกิน และชีวิตเมื่อไรจะเข้มแข็งพอ
Why is it so fragile. When will I ever be strong again.

และชีวิตเมื่อไรจะเข้มแข็ง ไม่รู้ ไม่รู้
When will I ever be strong, I just don’t know

และชีวิตเมื่อไรจะเข้มแข็ง ชีวิตเมื่อไรจะเข้มแข็งพอ
When will I ever be strong, strong enough to pull this through

Vintagemässan and Vintage lover

Waiting for some excitement in Stockholm and finally it came this weekend! Since I heard about it weeks ago I have been looking forward to go to the “Vintage Fair” event. First I thought it was going to in an open air area with space and room for many many shops. Sat. I went a bit late (1.30 PM) and the line was already long. Half way and 20 min later I gave up. Seeing people inside in closed space I know my companion wouldn’t last half an hour. Although he meant well but I know I better off coming early and alone. Sunday agenda started with pancake (fastest breakfast I ever did on Sunday!) and I’m off to Hornstull. Got there about 20 to 12 (open time) and I was in a line exactly where I left yesterday. At least I was the first 100 people to get in. Got a goodies bag which only few things I’m happy about. That is buy 4 cupcakes pay for only 2 at Stockholm cupcake and bottle of body oil.

The event took place in this pub/bar under the bridge by the park. It was about maybe 60 stores and all of them are filled with great vintage clothes. Overcoats seem to be most popular item and follow by other falls/autumn clothes. Got to see many beautiful garments and delicate beauty of the vintage clothes. Things weren’t so cheap but worth looking around. Some good quality goodies for those who like vintage without digging and pocket full of cash. It’s a very nice experience without buying anything. Especially seeing the people who like the same style as I do. Not a shopping event for me but still I really did enjoy it.

Day is still young and it’s Sunday. Still time to hit the flea market in town and lets the boys took the house. Maybe there’s something more for me there ;) and yes there is. Check out my Wardrob Trunk to see what I got today.

Sat. line to get in (2 pm)

A cute jacket from Austria

Old town n old friend

There's a reason why the old town is so charming. . . because it captures the essence of history and the rich story of every single bricks. Like an old friends, no matter how far apart are you or how long you haven't see each others there's always a string that will pull you back together. Walking down the old memories and seeing them grow to be special people in your life.

Since I move here 2 of my very old friends' career path brings them to Stockholm and we got to share the lives and hopes and dreams. I didn't get a chance to meet them much in BKK because of all the work and city chaos. But it was a very nice to fall back to the same warmth feeling we used to have and be able to speak our hearts to someone you can trust.

I have a lot of friends thus I only have a few great friends and couple best friends. I know that they will be there for me everywhere I go.

Are you a little gay?

Being gay is not just about sexuality. And “gay” in my term include the gays, the lady-boys, and all the lesbians. From what I heard it’s a tough and cruel world. I think to be what they are taking a huge amount of confident, great courage and load of positive and optimistic attitude. I have always admired the one that pull it through.

Being straight might be just ordinary or too ordinary and many times we feel like we are the ‘normal’ one while in fact we are a little ‘gay’ too. We just haven’t realized it.

They invented the word “metro sexual” so that a guy wouldn’t feel so embarrassed to shop for his face cream and being little gay wearing pink. It’s good for a guy to take better care of themselves when they are already so conscious about their body so why not every other things else. FYI : color is good for you. You won’t lose your manhood when wearing color, you know. ;P If you feel good about yourself and you are confident then it doesn’t matter what color you wore or how much time you spend in the bathroom, you will still be a man. A little gay par just helps you be a better man. And by the way, men are so sensitive ! if you don’t believe me try scratching his beloved car or take his favorite jeans away then you will hear some drama.

Women spend a life time fighting to be equal to men. We are trying so much to be accepted in work and society. And this is why we are so competitive no less than men. A little man inside of us always telling us to push harder and prove ourselves to be as equal as men. We may never will be because being women is extraordinary itself and it takes so much strength to go through everyday life. While men are crazy about work and rush off to golf, football or hitting beers with the buddies, some women have to come home and be a mom and a house wife. Not every place has a maid or nanny. The double work ship can be very tiring. I know a woman who works wonderfully teaching other kids and come home to her 3 boys. She has so much energy and raising such fabulous boys that amazed me. I admired her and I’m sure there is many out there doing the same thing. Thus the strongest woman I ever know is my mother. She is truly wo-‘man’. She raises me by herself for all 20 something years of my life since my father passed away. She is definitely having a man inside of her.

Most gay people I know in my life are practically awesome! They really great in what they do either it is acting, singing, dancing, designer, or business man. I think the most important thing they are where they are success in career is because they have GUTS and they are not afraid to challenge the world with their ideas. Maybe it is in their nature to prove themselves to the world or maybe they see thing differently than we ‘straight’ are.

So maybe we all need to be a little gay to challenge ourselves to be spontaneous and bring out the best of the best. Either you are men, women, straight or queer; I believe “a little gay is good for you” and like Martha always said “it’s a good thing”

Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Mirror is one of the most important pieces of art everyone should own. And I’m saying ‘art’ from the bottom of my little heart. Girls know how important it is to have a mirror for enhance her beauty and dressing fabulous. Boys with a sense of fashion personality could not agree more as well, trust me. Nobody would have disagreed not to look at themselves and make sure they are looking at best before showing off to the world.

But more important art form of the mirror is providing the reflection of whom you see in the mirror. Yes we are all pretty and skinny ;p but we also need to look at the beauty within and that also includes knowing yourself better than anyone. Looking in the mirror is the metaphor for examine and searching your true self beauty. Since nobody can strip you naked like yourself so you should not allow other people telling who you are and what you stand for. You will know best what is good for you and your souls and even more important what will feed you to be a better person.

Small mirror only allow you to see only certain part of yourself while the full mirror will give you the whole perspective of your life. It is your choice if you only want to accept the part that you want to see or to embrace your true self for your whole beauties and flaws.

Been waiting for my mirror for a while now but it is worth the wait so I guess I have to show it off a little bit.

What do we do during summer in Sweden. . . this is pretty much it.

Sorry guys im running out of inspiration lately. Been so moody and emotional.. maybe I should blame it on the heat here. Its 30 degree this past week and OMG it is Sweden for heaven sake ! Well can't say it’s all bad. I loving wearing my short short.

2 days ago I went to a football game and I have to say I wasn't there for the football. The game was so n so (sorry boyz!) but it's good to see the crowd getting all excited and screaming. Not many chances that a guy get to do that I guess ;P Anyway, I spot a little cute girl with Hello Kitty sunglasses and Hello Kitty hat and Football jersey. She is so cute sitting on her daddy's lap. She was doing so well paying attention to the first half of the game while I keep saying to myself "gosh the darn sun, when are you gonna go away".

It got me thinking of this cute special bond between father and daughter. Maybe she really likes football or maybe she just enjoy the time hanging with daddy. (He even got the girl to wear the football jersey) When we were that young I don't think it's matter what we do as long as we have mommy and daddy besides us. We were so attach to them as if they are our only best friends. And now that we grow up, have to say we are very picky of the time we will spend with them. It is almost on the end of the list of things we have to do. Is it a part of growing up, drifting apart or is it an excuse to get away from them telling us what to do?

Sometime it takes time and distance to realize how much you really love someone.

Vintage Digger # 3

Human Second Hand : Another organization that will help the world with our shopping gesture. They have both Vintage and second handed. The shop isn’t so small not as nice and so much stuffs as others but who know what you can find in the nowhere land. If you are in the neighborhood, I say stop by if you are far I say stick to one closer to you.

Röda Korset : This place was one of my favorite stop on the way to the city when I studied in Västeras. Basically it’s a boutique that belong to “The Redcross”. All the money goes to the foundation and we are sure making good karma. This place is amazingly cheap ! Their aim is to help people with low income having nice clothes, furniture, household things, textile, kitchenware and even some house decoration. You will be surprise of some of things you can find here. My theory is nice people with nice things like to do the good merit and giving to others with non-benefit organization. It is why some time you can get some good brand for a very cheap price. One is Stockholm is a bit far of my reach but it is not too far when shopping around Slussen is require. First time I visit the place I got this cute spring sweater from Massimo Dutti. Can you believe it costs 40 SEK ! I will sure make a visit there again. The trick to this one is “frequency” not all the time they will have cool things. It is absolutely depends on your luck.

Emmaus : The original shop first start in the late ‘60s, but now it has expanded into three stores; one children’s shop, a designer/vintage shop, and the general shop (the original Emmaus in Sweden). linked together. The shop is also another global organization. All items in the stores are gifts from the local community. So we have Vintage and absolutely second handed here. I would say it’s a lot close to Myrorna and the price isn’t far from it either. Vintage can be more expensive. When I first walk in the store it made me think of Good Will (the thrift store) in USA. The racks are organized by colors and type. I didn’t have a lot of time to explore this place much first time since I was short of time on my visit. Thus I manage to get 1 top from H&M last season that will make a cute dress. I plan to go back there again and see what they got for me.
So my 2nd visit for both vintage and general store. Vintage store was so charming with a card as a price tag and great beautiful clothes. Price is of cause a bit higher thus we understand. I found a lot of stuffs in the general store but only walk out with 3 items. They are more generally clothes with ordinary brand. Zara or Flippa K would be more pricy. I would say this is good for everyday wore drove. Oh also got a vintage looking belt for my boy and he really likes it.
Judy’s second hand : Let’s just say if you are into brand and good condition vintage things, this plce have them all lay out for you. From clothing to shoes and handbag and even accessories. Branding is top quality here and we talk about top brands as well. Chanel , Marc Jacob, Paul Smith, Cavalli and many more! If you have money to spend or feel like investing on the quality of the brand, don’t miss this place. If you think about how much you will have to pay for the first handed it is actually worth the penny. Or if brand is not your thing, stop by for good cozy shop and get to see all this wonderful things. And just a 100 m. away Judy also have a store for men. All stack up with cool looking sweater and rack for of shirts and suits/jacket. And all other things for men. I’m sure money will be worth spend here boy and you will only make one stop for everything. Isn’t this the dream idea.

Sunday Flea market at Hötorget : Or the Haymarket , a city square in the center of Stockholm. OMG! Gotta love waking up early on Sunday be-cuz of this. From about 9 – 4 in the evening this place is crowded with goodies. Don’t think all of them are selling their own stuffs but more like making a living of someone else trash. I think it’s about 10 stands or more each Sunday. Some are regular and not and more things add up every week. This is such a nice flea market for vintage. You gotta have eyes and good hand on this- seriously. Many junk is laying around and who know what you will find. Glassware, silverware, ceramic, jewelry, clothes, pottery, bags, belts.. you name it. So much fun just to walk around with empty handed home but I don’t think that would happen. This is a good place for souvenir as well. Got my lovely orange jacket and my brown leather bag here for 40 SEK in total. (But then again you know I bought more stuffs than that) Loving it! Clothing wise maybe not much but little goodie and house décor is definitely a place. If you get a chance to swing by the city on Sundy, make sure to make a stop.

Vintage digger # 2

I know i should have finish this subject long time ago but something always in the way. And I hope I don't disappoint you with my long post though.
Here come the treasure I discovered so far;

Myrorna : Swedish’s most well known vintage/second handed store. Hundreds and hundreds of stores all over Sweden. Just 10 itself in Stockholm. Myrorna is cheap compare to others and it’s style and price depend on the area they located. Some are small some are big but my favorite is one that that children’s clothes. Well what can I say… I’m Little ;) They have all kind of things for both “Dam and Herr” clothes, shoes, accessories, pottery, textile, books, even some furniture. It’s a great place to start especially when you are new mover. And for those digger like me here you can find both vintage clothes and second handed one. Vintage is a little more expensive than another type. V-Dress can start from 80 SEK and up to 200 SEK. Top can be from 80 SEK While current clothes can be found as cheap as 20 SEK. Vintage shoes are great too but condition and size usually depends on luck. Always new things (with old things) every week ! And you can always switch to other Myrorna in the area. Still this is my favorite place.

Beyond Retro : This place is a REAL vintage deal. I’m not sure if this place is originate from London or here in Sweden. Thus this place surely has its reputation. Sure inspiration the minute you walk in. in case you cannot check out their website http://www.beyondretro.com Everything in the wore drove vintage can be found here from clothes, shoes, bags, hat, and many more. If you have a thing for the retro period, you will like it here. So the price is a bit more expensive than other places but you have to give it to them, putting so much afford in selecting and searching and fixing all the stuffs. Say vintage is your style and you don’t feel like digging much then this is your place. Thus you still have to go through a lotttt of stuffs here anyway because they have tons of selection for you. Where else can you find an old style flower swimming cap or a very classy 50’s hat! I am amaze by this place but then again I like mix n match and the thrill of discover the treasure.

Stockholm Stadsmission : This is my new discover and how nice of them to also have many branches around the city as well. You can find most everything here too. This place is a lot like Myrorna but they mostly have the second handed goodies. The price is good here and for the branding is a little bit higher but still very good for all shopaholics. I got the pinkish top by Karl L. for H&M here for 60 SEK. And a very cool print top from Thai design! Don’t ever say Thai don’t have a good designer. Things that are more current seem to be found here with a little bit more clean and nicer environment. Plus you are helping the world by not waste trash (as they say in their campaign). If your budget is tight and still you are a shopper, don’t miss this place. I’m sure will stop there again.
By the way, Last week Found Marc Jacob pants size 10 for 250 SEK and Balenciaga (Giant First) for 200 SEK but not in good condition. Keep your eyes open!
